The Adventures of 2015- Part 8: December

December The month began with an 80th birthday celebration for my beautiful grandmother. I also had the opportunity to see one of my heroes, David Bazan perform in a personal little living room show. It was amazing. The last great show of the year with the Jackal Tickets. Christmas It was a lovely day with friends and family. New Years Eve Well that's a wrap!  2015 was an exciting roller coaster,  and I can't wait to see what 2016 has in store. No matter what though, I've decided to be happy.  Until next time, Angela Kelly

The Adventures of 2015- Part 6: October

October Always one of my favorite months. I love fall. The cooler weather. The leaves. The change. And of course, Halloween, which was particularly fun this year. I'm pretty proud of my fox costume. I made it all myself from scrap fabric and fur. ^_^  I'm usually a terrible procrastinator about costumes,  but with two nights of Halloween show plans this year I  surprised myself with not only one, but two pretty epic ensembles. Round two, Medusa. Don't look. My sister, Amy and her husband, Deacon  definitely won costumes of the year as zombie Lydia and Beetlejuice. Savannah was absolutely the creepiest clown ever. Nightmares for days. Plus this one from another show. Bathroom selfies with the newest member of our crew, Meg. I love you beautiful ladies! Until next time, Angela Kelly

The Adventures of 2015- Part 5: August & September

August We threw a surprise birthday party for my bestie, Savannah. Joan Jett and the Blackhearts The legendary Joan Jett came to Roanoke's Elmwood Park. and this. September Max We fostered the sweetest dog, Max,  until we found him a forever home.  He melted my heart. The Flood  We survived a flood that surrounded our house with our rad new neighbors. Backyard Disfunction An epic backyard punk extravaganza.  There was way too much wine,  an insane amount of dirt and dust, and many many bruises. It was fun.  Until next time, Angela Kelly

The Adventures of 2015- Part 4: May-July

May I love spring (and our first flower beds.) June Summertime is for shows and serious selfies. July I made my first trip to Washington, DC with the crew. We saw the Natural History Museum, a few monuments, the historic 9:30 Club and some amazing bands, The Interrupters and The Mighty Mighty Bosstones. We also had a pretty rad girls night at my house that has yet to be matched. Also, there's these kittens. Until next time, Angela Kelly
