Today is tax day. My aunt Lorena is coming over, who has been doing taxes for ages. This is the first year we are filing with the farm though, which is a whole new ballgame. It's made more complicated by the fact that it is Jonathan's farm (legally) on Dad's land, with a lease negotiated with maintenance and produce. It's sure to cause some headaches, but I'm sure we will figure it all out. I spent a few hours yesterday preparing everything, sorting receipts, making profit/loss statements, all sorts of fun things. I hope it all goes smoothly. Fingers crossed.
