tax day is upon us

 
Today is tax day. My aunt Lorena is coming over, who has been doing taxes for ages. This is the first year we are filing with the farm though, which is a whole new ballgame. It's made more complicated by the fact that it is Jonathan's farm (legally) on Dad's land, with a lease negotiated with maintenance and produce. It's sure to cause some headaches, but I'm sure we will figure it all out. I spent a few hours yesterday preparing everything, sorting receipts, making profit/loss statements, all sorts of fun things. 
I hope it all goes smoothly. Fingers crossed.

We now have two years of experience under our belts raising rabbits. We have learned a lot of useful information already, but we are far from experts. Justin and Savannah's Wedding - The Reception

baby blue duck eggs make me smile

Since the day before the storm last week we have been getting nearly a duck egg a day.  Beautiful baby blue duck eggs. It makes me very happy. The little wicker duckie makes me smile too. I have a red one two, they were goodwill gifts from my sister. I adore them. Until next time, Angela Kelly
