Yesterday afternoon while Jonathan was splitting the rest of a standing dead white oak I hauled a subaru load of firewood around to the back porch (closest to the wood stove.) It's surprising how much our little car can hold. I've also been impressed by how well he pulls up the driveway, unphased by mud, snow, and ice. I had some animal assistance unloading, Dakota and Roxy keeping me company. We accomplished quite a bit yesterday.
