For the past few weeks I've gotten very excited about trying to find an internship on a farm for the summer. It was a dream grasped for on a whim. Then on Friday I received a positive response from one farm, Tuckahoe Lamb and Cattle Company. After sharing the potential news with our families, I'm ready to share it with you. First, where this dream came from. When Jonathan and I moved to the country to live with my parents and turn their wooded property into a farm. The problem was we both have no experience farming or gardening, and no finances to start. We've now been living here for almost a year, and all we have accomplished is a few small garden boxes and learning to use a tractor.
