the office studio corner of the room is set up The walls are painted. Furniture is moved in. Artwork is hung. Bookshelves filled. Desks set up.  I am very excited. three painting my sister did are the centerpiece of the room - i love the color the little ducky I got for my birthday peaks down from the bookshelf a basket for sketchbooks, pencils and markers - another basket for painting supplies bookshelf and my little cow creamer jar office setup - organized and convenient another one of Amy's paintings I turned into a key holder <3 It is still very much a work in progress, mudroom shelving to be painted and organized, another storage cabinet for craft and office supplies, moving the cat crate outside (a few more weeks it will be warm enough,) setting up the pot and pan wall. This corner is finished though, and I love it. There are two desks, one with the computer and office stuff, and another with art supplies. Everything I need is handy,...

what a mess I have been going non-stop this weekend. I painted the main room when you enter our home, it was traditionally a living room, open with the kitchen, with a long hallway on one end leading to bedrooms and a bathroom, and a hall with the laundry room on the other side of the room, leading to our bedroom. I painted the space orange and yellow when we first moved back in (that was around 2011.) I liked it then but man it had worn out it's welcome with me. I went with a fresh minty green, its a very light shade, with all white trim.  The pictures don't do it justice, and I still have a lot of work to do setting everything back up.  I think I really like it, though. Before pictures: old windows - what to do with this space.... i have lots of ideas gross yellow walls (notice the old fan...) always a messy painter the other walls were orange / coral, also very ugly You will have to come back to see the after pictures!
