the afternoon thaw

melting into a muddy mess

the creek is a flowing now

no makeup farm days

Trilli soaking up the sunshine

This morning was cold, wet, and frozen, but by this afternoon the sun showed itself, the temperature creeped up a few degrees, and everything melted away quickly. Unfortunately my body didn't get the message, and I was stuck in cuddly inside by the fire mode. I did manage to clean the house a little it, and make some brownies. Also, I have been incredibly crafty this weekend, crocheting up a storm plus throwing together a few Christmas cards. Tomorrow it's back to the grind, another week. I hope one day we can stay here instead.

We now have two years of experience under our belts raising rabbits. We have learned a lot of useful information already, but we are far from experts. Justin and Savannah's Wedding - The Reception

baby blue duck eggs make me smile

Since the day before the storm last week we have been getting nearly a duck egg a day.  Beautiful baby blue duck eggs. It makes me very happy. The little wicker duckie makes me smile too. I have a red one two, they were goodwill gifts from my sister. I adore them. Until next time, Angela Kelly
